New York is a very large city and it is best to have comfortable and convenient accommodations waiting for you at the end of each day.

As you plan your trip to New York City, you will want to think about the different parts of the city you wish to see. There are also many buildings to take into consideration. It will likely be hard to see everything in just one trip. Many visitors enjoy starting their journey in the famous Rockefeller Center. No matter where you live, you have likely seen this area of New York on TV due to the existence of the large Christmas tree during the holidays. This center has complex buildings that were actually created during the depression. You can find famous shops, wonderful restaurants and much more within this area, including Radio City Music Hall.

One of the most recent popular areas of the city is now known as Ground Zero. This area once held the World Trade Center Twin Towers, which fell during terrorist attacks in 2001. The empty space where the towers once stood is now undergoing reconstruction. Eventually, there will be a memorial in place to honor the nearly 3,000 people that died during the attacks. Until the memorial opens, visitors can view the progress and visit the chapel across the street. The chapel has pictures, letters and many other items that were left by family members of those who perished in the attacks.

For a look at the history of the city, you might want to visit the Grand Central Terminal. This terminal was one of the greatest railway stations in the world. The building itself is quite marvelous with its appealing Beaux-Arts style. The structure was created in 1913 for the local railway company and not only does it service trains today but also residents and tourists looking for a good meal, incredible shopping, or other forms of entertainment.

Many visitors find time to make their way out to Ellis Island while they are in the area. This island is home to an incredible immigration museum. Over 12 million people came through the island as they sailed to a new life in America. The museum documents those travelers as well as many aspects of their journeys. The island is also home to the Statue of Liberty, which should not be missed.

Madison Square Garden is another area that takes quite a bit of time to explore. This square is one of the most pleasant areas of the city with architectural landmarks and sculptures surrounding it. You will also be able to view the famous Flatiron building among many others in this portion of the city.

Fifth Avenue is one of the most famous streets in the world and travelers often want to wander the street simply because of its fame. You will find that this street is not only a paradise for serious shoppers with its flagship stores, but it also has famous landmark buildings. It is easy to spend an entire day exploring all that this avenue has to offer.

New York is also full of museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This museum is often just called "the Met" and it holds one of the most extensive collections of art in the world. The building is a piece of art itself with its Beaux-Arts style. You can visit the museum as you wander through Central Park and view the other attractions the park has to offer.

Whenever you are in New York, you will likely leave very tired. It is easy to spend all day, every day exploring the attractions, enjoying the food, shopping in the stores and taking in as much as you can.
